Alright so, I took the default database from there https://skribbliohints.github.io/
and with the help of html, I extracted the words to a list separated by commas. It's useful when you want to translate those words into your native language. Word of advice
, when using google translate, do not put all words at once there, it can rapidly worsen the translation.
(And there is a last thing
. Their algorithm of picking only custom words is not working really good, at least for me. Meaning that I often get duplicates, despite having a list this big and without duplicates. I'm still trying to find some solution to this, so if somebody is experiencing this as well, share the knowledge please, I will do the same.) SOLUTION:
Thanks for the reply from PepegaWR
who identified the cause. I also tested it and there seems to be a custom words limit of 5000 characters. The easiest way in my opinion is to shuffle the words before each session to minimize the impact. Also thanks to the flynger
who had the same idea before me :)
Finally, here it is, enjoy the scribbling ^^ :

My sister, brother in law, and I took a trip to Las Vegas years ago. My sister loves taking pictures so her husband drove us around to all of the big casinos so she could get her pictures. We had to cut it short, however, when he got sick from eating a shrimp cocktail at a casino. So, we all went back to our hotel where he began puking his guys out. submitted by
Our hotel was down the road from the Excalibur, which my sister hadn't got a picture of yet. She insisted on walking down there. I told her that I was tired and didn't think we should go, especially since it was dark out at that time. She was so bent on getting that picture that she (normally being the chicken) said she'd walk by herself then. I couldn't let her walk alone in Vegas at dark, so I reluctantly agreed.
We got there easy enough, no problems. She snapped her picture and we were ready to head back. Now, Vegas has those walkways that are kinda like a bridge. I'm not sure what you call them, so I'll just call them a bridge. We were trying to cross back over one to get back to the hotel, but we kept running into beligerent drunk people, which would send us running back into the casino to avoid them. After doing that a few times, we were getting frustrated that we couldn't get across back to the hotel.
Just when we thought that the bridge finally looked safe, I noticed a drunk homeless man walking our direction. I used to be homeless myself and had been around that a lot, so I didn't want to walk near him. It's not always the case, but in my experience on the streets I've found that there are a lot of mental problems and drug use among the homeless population. Mixing that with alcohol can lead to some scary frames of mind. No judgement on him for being homeless as I had been there myself, but I had seen a lot during those years. I suggested that we just take the elevator down to avoid him. My suggestion fell on deaf ears as she just continued onward. Not wanting to leave her, I begrudgingly followed.
Sure enough, he approaches us and walks along with us. All the while he's saying things like, "you guys are the most beautiful women in the world! Ha ha, I tell all the women that."
Wanting to escape him, I started walking really fast. I expected my sister to follow suit. Nope! I turn around to see her falling behind, chatting with him. Frustrated, I slow back down. To my horror, this man comes running! I got on the escalator to go down being that my sister had caught up. I don't know what I was thinking though, escalators are slow and not the best escape route. The man also hops on the escalator, but the wrong one. So this poor drunk man goes tumbling down the escalator. We make a complete turn around and run back up our escalator. Once at the top I took a quick glance to the bottom. He was standing at the bottom, staring up at us with these big sad eyes. I actually felt kinda bad for him...
We ran quickly back into the casino and I sat down to try and catch my breath. "Did you hear what he said before running to the escalator?" She asked. I shook my head no. She continued, "When you started walking fast, he said 'what, are we racing?!' and then he ran". We both laughed, but also felt bad for the guy. Sure was happy he won the race though.
Unfortunately for my sick brother in law, he had to come pick us up. He was not happy. But really, we weren't ever gonna make it back over the bridge.
I'm not sure if this story is more creepy or sad. A bit of both, really. I think he was simply drunk and lonely and I hope he's doing well.
So my best friend is getting married and we’re having his bachelor party in Vegas. For some reason everyone wants to go during the NFL draft when it’s going to be insanely crowded. Because of that, rooms are really expensive and our friends (there’s 8 of us) would rather stay in a cheap(er) hotel so they could spend more on other stuff. They chose the Excalibur(one of the shittiest hotels in Vegas and barely on the strip). The groom would rather stay at a better hotel too, but caved to everyone else. submitted by
Now my gf and I go to Vegas all the time to gamble, so I can get a free room whenever I want. I got two rooms comped at the cosmopolitan, and could have gotten the other 6 at a big discount, but still more expensive than Excalibur. Four of them declined so four of us are gonna stay at the cosmo and the other four at Excalibur. The ones that declined are all complaining that everyone’s gonna be split up and we should all be together in the same hotel. They’re saying that we’re too good to stay at the Excalibur and basically throwing a tantrum.
My gf thinks I should’ve just sucked it up and had everyone stay at the Excalibur. And that it’s more important that everyone’s together and in a good mood. I think that we should do what the groom wants and not stay at a shitty casino. So AITA?
I've only been playing craps for a few months. I wanted to learn before I went to Las Vegas. It was my first time in Vegas and my wife hasn't been for 10 or so years. submitted by
This report is from 5/4/2019-5/18/2019.
We play in Michigan and Indiana for the most part. There is a Boyd property out here we have been going to for a few years. We were able to get free rooms at the Fremont for 2 nights and Gold Coast for 2 nights. We went to MGM in Detroit once with her mom and they send us offers all the time to go to Vegas. We decided to take them up on it and were able to get 4 nights at the Luxor.
I had a budget of $200/day. My goal was to play $5 craps where I could.
The first weekend we spent mostly at the Fremont. I enjoyed playing at the tables with the older guys and a more relaxed crowd. Always had a $5 table open and the dealers were really nice. I tried to make some 2 way hard ways and yo's and the dealers really seemed to appreciate that. They remembered my name and were always very kind to me. One dealer even flipped the dice to 3-3 for me when he sent them my way to save me time. I really enjoyed playing there.
I saw that they had a shooters club at Fremont and found it curious. I was able to roll 20 and 23 times while I was there, but that's not even close to getting on the wall. I was playing mostly the pass and 6-8 occasionally taking a 5/9 with my winnings. I didn't make much, but people around the table did.
We found our way down to the D and Golden Gate on Sunday afternoon. My wife really enjoyed the Golden Gate and I did as well. Always found 5 dollar tables and at night they have the dancing dealers, which is always a nice thing to look at. Dealers were great any my wife was able to earn comps there quickly. Paid for our dinner at Pizza Rock on just her comps. The D was pretty nice too, but was very loud at night and more crowded.
We had a nice room at the Luxor and spent our first day there (Thursday) walking around the hotels. I was trying to collect a dollar chip from any casino that we went into as a souvenir. Luxor was $10 everytime I was there. 2 tables open in the morning with no one playing. I asked if they would lower it to play, but they declined. We walked to Excalibur and I was able to play for $5 anytime except for Saturday night after 8. They did have a $5 crapless table, but it was crowded and I don't like it. The house edge is high.
I had some coupons for match play at Planet Hollywood so I did play $10 there for about 3 shooters but I lost my money quickly. We had to make some bets for my brother at Caesars so we used his card to park there for free. I did bet one shooter there just to say I played at Caesars.
As you can imagine, the nicer hotels were all $10 and up. I was able to find $5 briefly during the day at Treasure Island and played there for a little while.
We went back downtown the Saturday and Sunday where we could afford to play. My wife found her home at Four Queens. She loved sitting in the Keno room and playing the live Keno and a Keno machine at the same time. She also enjoyed playing High Card Flush and Texas Holdem there. I played craps there for quite a long time, but the dealers for that shift weren't as friendly.
For the most part I would win $100 somewhere and loss $100 somewhere. But I kept most of my money throughout the trip.
Our last weekend we stayed at Gold Coast and played there on Thursday night. We went back downtown Friday night to play at the Golden Gate and Binions. My wife hit a jackpot in slots at Golden Gate before we left that won back all of the money we lost. We left Las Vegas even on money after paying for dinners and such.
It was a really fun trip. I know with my bankroll Vegas can be tough. But we aren't fancy people so downtown was perfect for us. We earned some comps and plan to stay at a Boyd property or the D when we go back in February (we had Disneyland tickets for one day. I've never been and she hasn't been since 1998. But my wife got sick so it's an excuse to go back.). Hoping we can put the money we came back with away to use as a bankroll next time.
Okay, enough slacking on this post. submitted by
We will be here from feb 28th, around late afternoon to night, and will be leaving on monday mar 4th. :)
Feel free to join us anytime that weekend.
Me and a few have chosen to stay at Excalibur hotel and casino, which seems to be the cheapest option that's decently on the strip, plus they have an arcade and a horse show :D
It is vegas afterall, we will plan to have a lunch together or dinner together, but the rest of it will be free flowing.
I personally want to see the neon museum, and maybe go to the dam, or shoot some guns hehe
feel free to tag everyone!!!! and let me know who I forgot.
Thought this could be handy to some people heading out there, especially at this time of year. I'm a BE micro stakes donk who plays online for fun with some casino experience in London, UK, decided to head out to Vegas to see the sights and blow some money on live poker for the experience. Spent some time googling before going because there are so many rooms that it can be tricky choosing one to play at, here's my take on it. I went for 10 days and got back yesterday, only playing 1/2 and a few donkaments. submitted by
Some tips before going - most of the rooms are pretty similar in terms of quality, mostly tourists/old men with one or two decent young players. Each room will run different promos of some kind or another, I would recommend downloading the 'Bravo Poker Live' app and spending 15 minutes or so having a flick through the poker rooms - you can star the ones you are interested in plus keep an eye out for other games you might want to play (few rooms ran 1/1 PLO for example). It also shows live wait list and how many tables are running that I found to be pretty accurate. The app also details all of the promotions that the poker rooms run, for example how much you get paid for a royal etc. Also make sure you sign up for the reward cards, it's free to do, takes a few minutes and pretty much everywhere will give you $2 an hour towards food. Also - all drinks are free everywhere, including alcohol! You just need to tip the cocktail waitresses.
I really liked it here and turned up one morning before going Grand Canyon and it had the most insane game I've ever seen - they run a (n optional) $20 straddle from any position and some guy and his friend were doing it for like an hour straight. Good cocktail service and friendly dealers, normally was at least two tables going during the day, definitely the softest games around without a notable absence of pros/crushers, I think this is because they don't do promos. They do, however, give you a free buffet when you play for fours hours or more which was awesome and I took advantage of a lot of times before eating and going elsewhere.
I liked this place because of the promo it ran - if you hit a full house you get a ticket into a raffle (they just put all the tickets into a box) and draw a ticket once an hour, if your ticket gets pulled you win $200 in cash. I was lucky enough to win it once. They also have a good full house promo thing where they put particular full houses up on the wall (for example 555TT and JJJ99) and you win a certain amount if you hit them (it was $1500 the last day I played). Pretty active room with a lot of tourists (especially crazy on Saturday night after some MMA fight or something happened in the hotel) but I did notice a lot of the same guys sipping water playing through the early hours feeding on the fish. Overall though a decent room plus you get $2 an hour in comps for food that you can use at Starbucks as well as other places in the casino. Side note - I've never seen so many insanely hot women in one place. The poker room is just off from a nightclub and you get a steady stream of some of the world's most beautiful women stumbling out wearing next to nothing on weekend evenings. Someone at our table actually paid a guy $20 at the table next to us to move so he had a better view!
The atmosphere in here is unlike anywhere else, tunes are pumping with 10/10 birds dancing next to naked on the Blackjack tables opposite, was like playing in the middle of a nightclub. There isn't really a room as such, it's just a load of tables in the centre of the casino. Was one of the busier places, often 10+ tables running in evenings. This is the kind of place that attracts guys buying in for the maximum wearing jewel encrusted watches on both wrists and showing their buddies sitting behind them their cards before shoving on a bluff. The music brings a very noticeable tempo to the game, people play and bet insanely quickly and nearly everyone was drinking booze in the evenings, not really the place for old man nits. A guy hit a royal when I was there and got $500. Alas, the atmosphere got to me and I ended up getting pissed as a fart and dropping a lot so be careful if you get caught up in atmospheres, great action room though, probably my favourite 'unique' experience.
Cool room that did cheap tourneys ($45) a few times a day that turn into 5BB shove fest after an hour or so. Easy room with a lot of drunk tourists, I actually regret not coming back here and checking it out more. They do a thing where if your aces get cracked you get a free spin on a 'wheel of fortune' type thing - most of the prizes are $25 but you have the chance to win a few hundred. Seemed easy level of play with little or no pros/regs
Only played here for a few hours, nice room next to a huge sportsbook but the tournament structure was horrible - I stupidly registered 30 minutes late and got like 10BB if that. Cash was full of people playing at the hotel and limping every hand but I only played a few hours on like a Wednesday morning so not sure what it's like in the evenings.
Action! Didn't play much but seemingly everyone drinks and the games are fast and loose, definitely worth checking this place out. They run 1/1 PLO too but I couldn't get a game going when I was there
I turned up here at like 5am one morning and gave it a go, left after 30 minutes. Table was full of absolute beasts with $1k + stacks, extremely noticeable step up in quality compared to other rooms and not just marginal either, I was well out of my depth. It was a really nice room to play in and the casino was cool, I was going to give it another go but didn't get around to it, I assumed there must be a lot of fish if this many reg pros were playing.
Really nice room and probably the most elegant casino in Vegas, twice tried getting in a game here but the waitlist was like an hour long both times (38 people!) so gave it a miss. Twice I showed up and gawped at Doyle Brunson like a tourist, also saw Negreanu as well. Looked like a lot of big pros really do play here, they have a large selection of games including mixed and high stakes. Kinda regret not sticking around and playing here just in the hopes of getting a table change somewhere near Bobby's room so I could lean over and watch those guys for an hour or so, I suspect I'm not the only one thinking like that. FYI 1/3 is the minimum game here.
This is downtown so about a 30 minutes bus ride from the strip depending on traffic. Quite a lot of tables in a tight room and it's the only poker room on Downtown (I think? Binions only had tourneys running IIRC) so you get a lot of drunk tourists wandering in off of the Freemont street show. I actually had my best session here after shoving the turn with a J on a 9TQK board and getting called by two people without a straight, this should tell you everything you need to know about the calibre of play.
Well hopefully this gives people an idea of what they're heading into, happy to answer other Vegas specific questions if anyone has any, I hardly slept and smashed the shit out of the city for a week so feel I picked up quite a bit about how it works now. Overall the games are very easy compared to your average 1/2 in London for example. Best week of my life, fuck coming home :(
